耶稣道成肉身，使我们能肉身成道。
你们要行道，不要只是听道，自己欺骗自己。 因为人听道而不行道，就像照镜子一样， 看过后就走了，随即忘记了自己的容貌。 但详细查考那使人得自由的全备律法并且持之以恒的人，不是听了就忘，而是身体力行，这样的人必在他所行的事上蒙福。 (雅各书 1:22-25 CCB）
行而后知不能，不能就要倚靠上帝的大能，
顺服才能彰显上帝的大能。

平安
不要憂慮也不要害怕，在世界上的時候，我們會遭遇試煉和苦難，但主耶穌已經在這世界的一切事情上得勝，我們在祂裏面得著勝利的果實-平安。對凡事靠著自己能力的人來說，進入神的國度，得著永遠的生命，幾乎是不可能的事。人的本性難移，不能自己拯救自己，只有上帝能從根本改變一個人，改變他的DNA，使他有了上帝的DNA， 成為上帝的兒女，才能承受上帝的國度。 對上帝的信心，成就上帝的應許。
約翰福音14：27 我把平安留給你們，把我的平安賜給你們，我賜給你們的平安不像世人給的平安。你們心里不要憂愁，也不要害怕。
約翰福音16：33 我把這些事告訴你們，是要叫你們在我里面有平安。你們在世上會有苦難，但你們要放心，我已經勝過這個世界。”
腓立比書 4：4-7 你們要靠主常常喜樂！我再說，你們要喜樂！5 要讓眾人都知道你們是謙和寬容的人。主快來了。6 你們應該一無掛慮，凡事要借著禱告和祈求，以感恩的心將你們的需要告訴上帝。7 這樣，上帝那超越人所能理解的平安必在基督耶穌里保守你們的心思意念。

效法基督
腓立比書
2：5-11
5 你們應當有基督耶穌那樣的心腸。
6 祂雖然本質上是上帝，
卻沒有緊緊抓住自己與上帝的平等地位，
7 反而甘願放下一切，
取了奴仆的形象，降生為人的樣子。
8 祂以人的樣子出現后，
就自願卑微，順服至死，
而且死在十字架上。
9 因此，上帝將祂升為至尊，
賜給祂超乎萬名之上的名，
10 使一切天上的、地上的和地底下的，
無不屈膝跪拜在耶穌的名下，
11 無不口稱耶穌基督是主，
將榮耀歸於父上帝。
Php 2:5-11 GNB The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had: (6) He always had the nature of God, but he did not think that by force he should try to remain equal with God. (7) Instead of this, of his own free will he gave up all he had, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness. (8) He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death--- his death on the cross. (9) For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name. (10) And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees, (11) and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

苦難
羅馬書5：1-5
1
我們既然因信而被稱為義人，就借著我們的主耶穌基督與上帝和好了。2
我們又靠著祂，借著信進入現在所站的這恩典中，歡歡喜喜地盼望分享上帝的榮耀。3
不但如此，我們在苦難中也歡喜，因為知道苦難使人生忍耐，4
忍耐生品格，品格生盼望。5
這種盼望不會落空，因為上帝的愛借著所賜給我們的聖靈已傾注在我們心中。Rom 5:1-5 NLT Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. (2) Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory. (3) We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. (4) And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. (5) And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.
羅馬書 8：16-18
16 聖靈親自與我們的心一同見證我們是上帝的兒女。17
既然我們是兒女，就是繼承人，是上帝的后嗣，并且與基督同做后嗣。所以，如果現在我們和基督一同受苦，將來也必和祂一同得榮耀。18
我認為現在所受的痛苦與將來要顯給我們的榮耀相比，簡直微不足道。
